David has been a financial advisor since 1996 and has been with Stifel since 2009. He has also previously served as an adjunct faculty member at Buena Vista University, teaching finance and investment courses since 1996. David earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
Philosophy
David focuses on developing investment strategies tailored to clients’ goals and needs, using the broad range of resources available at Stifel. In particular, he focuses on helping clients transition to retirement by engaging in the retirement planning process and tailoring asset allocation and income strategies to his clients’ long-term needs. By meeting periodically with clients, David reviews portfolios and objectives to help clients stay on track with their goals throughout retirement.

David has been a financial advisor with Stifel since 2015 and currently serves as Branch Manager as of 2023. Prior to joining Stifel, David served as a Wealth Management Advisor at U.S. Bank’s Private Client Group, as Director of Private Banking at United Prairie Bank, and as CEO/Founder of a startup financial services company. He began his career as a Commercial Lender with Wells Fargo Bank and became a Regional Manager prior to leaving for the startup.

Focusing on the unique goals and needs of family clients, David specializes in helping business owners navigate growth, preservation, and liquidity events associated with their companies. He also assists individuals with transitioning to and navigating retirement. He is committed to conducting periodic discussions and meetings to help his clients stay on track as they pursue their goals.

Greg has been a Financial Advisor with Stifel since 2021. He previously spent 18 years as CFO for a nonprofit organization, where he oversaw their endowment funds and 401(k) plan and completed a public municipal bond offering for their senior living project. He began his career working in investment accounting at Principal in Des Moines, Iowa.
Philosophy
Greg listens to clients’ personal and financial stories to tailor investment plans and programs aligned with their goals and aspirations. He helps clients understand their financial position and addresses both current and long-term needs while considering tax implications and risk tolerance. His focus areas include retirement planning and strategies designed to mitigate risk through various life stages and market cycles.
Personal
When not at work, Greg enjoys hiking, canoeing, wilderness conservation, and growing almost anything. He and his wife, Carrie, grew up in Mason City and moved back to the area in 2002 to raise their four daughters.

Kayla has been a Financial Advisor with Stifel since 2024. Prior to her Financial Advisor role, she had the pleasure of supporting the Morgan + Wittenberg Group as a Registered Client Service Associate. Earlier in her career, she was part of a fiber optic transport startup company that successfully sold in 2018. Her broad background gives her a unique edge when evaluating client situations and assisting them with their financial goals.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys sports, reading, traveling, and spending time on the lake with her husband and their two children.

Renee has more than 30 years of financial services experience. Originally from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, she attended the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire before moving to Mankato to join Piper Jaffray as a receptionist. In 1999, Renee joined an investment team that would later become the Morgan + Wittenberg Group.
Personal
Renee enjoys working with individuals and supporting the team in helping clients pursue their financial goals. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling to different areas to take in the local culture. She currently resides in Mankato with her dog, Bruno.

Prior to joining Stifel, Abby began her career at the Mankato Clinic as a Patient Account Representative.

Outside of the office, Abby enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and family, reading a good book, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings.

Trista began her financial services career at Stifel in 2023. During Trista’s time at MSU, she was an active member of the Financial Planning Club. Prior to graduating, she worked for Stifel as their branch intern.
